There’s nothing quite like heading off on an adventure in the Australian coastal wilderness.

The temperate climate of the Sapphire Coast means bushwalking can be enjoyed all year long. In summer, you can plan your walks around swimming, seeking out our estuaries and rivers and in winter climb to the snow-free peaks of our mountains. Our flora and fauna change greatly with the seasons and are the focus of careful management by rangers. Think of flowering gums and bush orchids, the swagger of a leathery goanna, the clever mimicry of the Lyre Bird and the quiet curiosity of a wallaby and her joey.

The local Aboriginal people of the Yuin Nation respect the power of this land and you can discover how they lived along the coast, harvesting from the ocean and the land as you trace their footsteps at special sites in our National Parks.
